Getting Here
Manaus is a 4 ½ hour direct flight out of Miami. Or out of the West
Coast of the US or other cities and Europe or elsewhere many airlines
have flights thru Sao Paulo or Rio having to change on to Manaus. Many
USA airlines have connections thru there. Upon arrival in Manaus
depending on the time you arrive or if you included a Manaus visit in
your package we will arrange hotel accommodations or you will depart
directly for Itacoatiara with our guide/driver "Keydinho" or
"Crisantes".
We work with several travel agencies in the US that can assist in your
travel arrangements.
Depending on what country you are coming from you may need a visa to
enter Brazil. Check with your local travel agency or Brazilian
Consulate. Here is a link to a site that lists consulates within the
US. http://www.brazilsf.org/
Some shots may be required such as Yellow Fever. I recommend Hepatitis
A and B shots which in reality you should have anyways. A malaria
regime is suggested as well and there are many pills available that are
taken daily or weekly. Some are better than others so check with your
doctor or local travel immunization center to see what is best for you.
